Yogev Shetrit is an internationally touring drummer, composer and educator whose music connects North African heritage with the open language of contemporary jazz.
Born in Be’er Sheva, Israel, Shetrit brings Moroccan, Andalusian and Mediterranean traditions into original instrumental music. Since founding his trio, he has performed across more than 50 countries — from the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to Casa del Jazz in Rome.
